Luxury brands have been slow to embrace eCommerce and digital innovation, but the situation is starting to change. High-end eCommerce is an important growth engine for luxury digital. Luxury brands need to assess the contribution that digital currently has on their total sales performances and consumers’ purchase behaviors. High-end businesses then need to define a long-term strategy to gain access to technological advances such as customer support, click and collect, international payments, and return in-store options.
To get ahead in luxury e-commerce, traditional luxury brands need to learn from direct-to-consumer brands and focus on sustainability, diversity, and technology. The luxury goods e-commerce industry is set to experience unprecedented growth, reaching wider audiences than ever before. Luxury fashion stores are cultivating immersive online environments with innovative technologies to enrich the customer experience.
Successful luxury fashion brands sell more than just clothing; they sell an experience, an image, and a unique brand experience. Online purchases typically start with a Google search, and the company that shows up first has the best chance of winning the sale.
To get a brand to sell their products on your online store, there are three ways to do this: buy directly from the brand, buy from social media, or partner with niche influencers. Major luxury brands use their websites, social media accounts, and digital marketing to expand the scope of the luxury brand experience.
To get more high ticket sales in eCommerce, digitally-savvy luxury brands prioritize content, personalization, and customer service. Italist, an online marketplace, aggregates the inventory of over 250 independent boutiques, allowing online shoppers to acquire luxury items sold by other brands.

Good luck!! 🤞
