Define Of A Sinful Way Of Life?

The biblical definition of a sinful lifestyle is a lifestyle contrary to God’s word and sin, without the grace of Jesus Christ. God is a gracious, slow-to-angry Father who is holy, righteous, and just, and wants us to be holy like Him. Christians living a sinful lifestyle need to understand that the decision to live a sinful lifestyle leads them down a path in life, just like every other decision they make.

Those who make a practice of sinning also face judgment and discipline from God. According to 1 John 1:9, confessing our sins allows God to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. A standard is nothing more than an expression of biblical teachings on how a Christian should live in a sinful world. If a person completely disregards these teachings, they cannot keep on practicing their sinful lifestyle.

Paul warned the Ephesians to no longer live in sin as they had before their conversions, which alienated them from God. This devotion looks at why we sometimes return to a sinful lifestyle and encourages them to begin living the life of freedom that God has given to them freely.

While believers are capable of sinning, a pattern of unrepentant sin and disobedience raises doubts about the authenticity of their faith. God has made it clear what is a sin and what is not a sin. If one repents of their sin and no longer lives or promotes a sinful lifestyle, they can be a Christian.

All of us are born in sin, and Romans 5:12 states that through one man (Adam), sin entered the world. When we become Christians, our lives will change, and anyone who is living a sinful lifestyle can be and better be a Christian.

📹 How to Break a Sin Cycle: What is True Repentance?

True repentance is how to break a sin cycle, because true repentance invites the grace of God. But what is true repentance?

Is it possible to live a sin free life?

Sin is no longer the dominant force in our lives, as we are indwelt by the spirit and have died to it. We have achieved victory over sin, rendering it an exception rather than the norm.

What is a sinful habit?

What is a sinful habit?

Sinful habits often stem from sinful desires, such as envy, jealousy, or pride. These outward behaviors are a manifestation of a deeper issue, reflecting our inward thoughts. Salvation is not about changing habits, but about addressing the desires of the heart. Anything that doesn’t reflect Christ’s character needs to be addressed. Until the heart problem is corrected, the habit problem will persist. Focusing on Jesus and yielding to the Holy Spirit can lead to better habits.

To identify sinful habits and their underlying attitudes, ask God to help identify any trace of lust, anger, pride, greed, or covetousness in your heart. Confess these attitudes and deal with them radically, removing anything out of line with Jesus’ character. This will help you overcome the habit problem and improve your overall well-being.

How do I stop living a sinful life?

To deal with sin in your life, avoid fleshly lusts, make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts, fix your heart on Christ, meditate on God’s Word, and be constantly in prayer. Scripture offers practical means to hack up Agag and kill the remaining Amalekites in your life, none of which are fleshly or ritual. John Owen, a Puritan thinker, observed that most Roman Catholic religious systems consisted of “mistaken ways and means of mortification” such as vows, orders, fastings, and penances.

Sin cannot be annihilated through external means like legalism, monasticism, Pharisaism, or self-flagellation. The instrument of mortification is in the heart, and all means of mortification are drawn from simple commands of Scripture that the believer must obey.

What is considered living in sin?

What is considered living in sin?

The phrase “living in sin” has been traditionally applied to couples who live together without being validly married, including those who are not married, Catholics who are civilly married but not married in the Catholic Church, and Catholics who have divorced and remarried civilly. However, it is not sinful to live with someone else, and for these couples to be “living in sin”, they must be sexually intimate.

The Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops on the Family in Rome last October suggested the church drop the use of language such as “living in sin”, “intrinsically disordered”, and “contraceptive mentality”. The final report from this synod calls for a critical examination of the language the church uses when addressing people who would normally have these terms applied to them.

The phrase is used inconsistently, as we are all “living in sin”. Applying this phrase to only one kind of human behavior, such as failing to care for the poor, is an arbitrary and deceptive misrepresentation of people’s circumstances and the reality of sin. The church is not fairly representing all the complexities of any relationship when it focuses on only one aspect of that relationship, such as sexual intimacy outside of a valid marriage, and tells the couple they are “living in sin”.

What are the 4 sinful activities?

In the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon), new initiated devotees pledge to refrain from engaging in activities that are considered sinful, such as consuming meat, partaking in intoxication, engaging in illicit sexual activities, and gambling. These activities are believed to impede spiritual advancement.

Is it a sin to be single forever?

Is it a sin to be single forever?

Paul emphasizes the importance of singleness in the Christian faith, stating that it is a gift from God, not a curse. He believes that each person has their own unique gift from God, and that God desires his good, perfect, and delightful will for them right now. He encourages those who desire marriage but do not have the life they expected to have, as God has not abandoned them.

One of the advantages of singleness is the opportunity to experience the advantages that marriage does not provide. If we cannot identify the advantages that come with singleness, then we may not have much to offer to those living a single life. In essence, singleness is a gift from God, and it is important to recognize the advantages that come with it.

Is kissing before marriage a sin?

The Bible does not explicitly condemn kissing as a sin in Christianity, but it does condemn any act that can lead to sex before marriage. It emphasizes purity and does not specifically call out kissing as a sin. Instead, it condemns any act that can lead to sex before marriage. As a Christian, honoring God is crucial in all relationships, but it is not necessary to avoid kissing in a God-fearing romantic partnership. Understanding the Bible’s views on kissing can help couples prioritize God in their relationships.

Is swearing a sin?

Christians should not cuss, as the Bible teaches that they should be people who speak with grace, wisdom, truth, praise, and thanksgiving. Instead of justifying words that are considered foul, filthy, and morally corrupt, Christians should be gracious and seasoned with salt. This is emphasized in Colossians 3. 8, 4. 6, where it is emphasized that Christians should put away anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk. Tony de la Riva, an elder and pastor at Firm Foundation Bible Church, emphasizes the importance of gracious speech and salt in understanding how to answer each person.

What is the biggest sin in life?

Pride, also known as hubris or futility, is considered the original and worst of the seven deadly sins in Christianity and Islam. These sins are grouped into major vices within the teachings of Christianity and Islam, with the standard list consisting of pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth. The classification of deadly sins in Christianity originated with Tertullian and continued with Evagrius Ponticus. The concept of seven deadly sins evolved over time, influenced by the Latin language of the Roman Catholic Church and Greek language and religious traditions.

Knowledge of the concept is known through discussions in treatises, depictions in paintings and sculpture, and older textbooks. Over the centuries, the idea of sins, particularly seven in number, has permutated into religious and philosophical thought, fine art painting, and popular culture, including literature and new forms of media such as moving pictures and digital streaming.

What is an example of living in sin?

The text advises against avoiding individuals who are blatantly living a sinful lifestyle, such as drug addicts, serial killers, or habitual thieves. It emphasizes that evil company corrupts good habits and that one should not associate with such individuals in the world. Paul’s admonition also suggests that one should not associate closely with fornicators, covetous, extortioners, or idolaters, as this would lead to a hermitage.

However, one should not look down upon them or treat them poorly, as being a distant acquaintance allows one to be an example and a light to them. This approach to living a hermitage is essential for maintaining good habits and living a life of righteousness.

  • I asked for prayers to break addiction and I renounced smoking after 34 years, before I repented. I knew I needed to stop, but wasn’t really ready to commit, which has made me fight myself on this issue. I feel guilty for still wanting to smoke. God answered and I made it 8 days the first time, then on the 9th day i went backwards and haven’t been the same since. I went through a couple of packs then quit again, and now, it’s been 30 days. All Glory to God. Even today I struggle with cravings. 🙌 when I am weak He is strong! I still pray for forgiveness for going backwards and for lying to myself. Thank You Lord for those who prayed with and for me. God Bless

  • He makes me whole, He enlightens my heart, time disappears when I am alone with Him, everything else disappears when I am alone with Him. He silences all other voices when He speaks to me. My life is flourishing because of Him, He has given me a new heart a new life. He purifies my soul, my thoughts, my heart and life. Without Him, I am lost. I was the sheep that had gone wild, but He found me. He is the light I walk in, He is the eternal source. He knew me before I was born, He loved me before I was born. Yes He sees my thoughts and motives, yes He sees every step I take. His love surpasses all understanding, and NOTHING can be compared to Him, He is the only one who can save our soul, and He loved me before I loved Him …… His name is Jesus Christ ❤️

  • Acknowledging that it is wrong In God’s eyes is really the game changer! Thank you pastor I’ve been going through a cycle 🔃 for months! For a while I felt like I should know better because that was the same approach I had and God delivered me before from the very thing I’m dealing with now thank you God for your Mercy and patience. Not going back From this day forward in Jesus Christ name Amen 🙏🏾💯 Love and thank you 🙏🏾God bless

  • WORLDLY SORROW Hebrews 12:16-17 KJVS Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

  • I just prayed to the Lord saying that I don’t know what true repentance is and I need His help for true repentance and I was just scrolling and found this article. I believe that the Lord put this in front of me for that very reason. Thank you Jesus for sending me this article. Now I will use this article to help me with true repentance. I will defeat sin in Jesus name!🙏🏾❤️

  • I admitted my involvement in the things I did and now I guard my heart and remember what I said to him by acknowledge It once had a hold on me and now I just submitted myself to God and resist the devil and he has to flee, it starts with a thought and that’s when I take that thought captive and place it under the obedience of Christ determined that I’m not going back to the way I used to be because I made a decision to follow the Holy Spirit and cast all my cares on the Lord that way the triggers that aided in the sin will have no power and now I could truly say I could do all things through Christ who strengthens me and Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. Therefore I can truly say I’ve been born again because every thing in life seems new it’s like I just began to live.

  • Wow… Amen, truly this applied to me. Many times did I pray in repentance from sin temporary subconciously and conciously. Lord have mercy on me, remove all to the minute detail of sin that causes me to do wrong against You. Lord Jesus, change my heart to what is right, that it may align with your heart, Lord. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit…

  • Lord I agree this is wrong, I wanna let go of this sin completely, because I know it’s wrong even though I keep doing it. Change my mind to the point that I am turning from my sin. I ask you for help when I feel the temptation. Help me give these sins up for good. I want these sins COMPLETELY removed from my LIFE. Please remove my sinful desires. I want it all GONE.

  • Lord I Agree With you this Is Wrong and I want to never coming back to this place again I Want to Get Rid Of things completely I Agree With you Jesus Amen Lord I Want to Turned Away From my Sin Lord I want to Stop Lying, and Lust of the Flesh, Lust of the Eye and Pride Of life. God I agree with you I want It out of my life Forever and I Want It Gone in All Forms and All Sizes and I don’t want little bit Of it I Want it Gone.

  • I hear about real transformation through the Holy Spirit, yet for seventy years it has eluded me. Deeply rooted sin is evidence of my impending destruction. My belief in Jesus Christ is strong yet my faith is obviously weak. My private life does not reflect my public persona. I live as a slave to sexual impurity. In spite of my hypocrisy God has been amazingly long suffering on my behalf. I will not let Him down even as I understand the extreme challenge ahead. By the Grace of God I shall have victory in Christ Jesus!

  • Today I had my exams and in every exam I tend to copy bcoz I am sacred of getting less marks but I know god does not like it even before the exam I ask the holy spirit to help and every time I copy and repent like every single test and this article helped me to show what is true repentance and I no longer feel guilty

  • Hosea 10:12 Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you. Jeremiah 4:3 For thus says the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem: “Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns. Hebrews 6:7-8 For land that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God But if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, and its end is to be burned. Jeremiah 7:23 But this command I gave them: ‘Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’ But they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and the stubbornness of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward. Jeremiah 8:5 Why then has this people turned away in perpetual backsliding? They hold fast to deceit; they refuse to return. Jeremiah 9:6 Heaping oppression upon oppression, and deceit upon deceit, they refuse to know me, declares the Lord. John 3:19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. Ephesians 5:11 Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

  • Thank you pastor David, I wanna get rid of this one habit. I know it’s wrong doin it,but I really enjoy doin it.. I really want to let it go but the temporary pleasure overtakes me.. l really really really want to give up on it, i try but after some time i start again. I pray that God will help me hate and give up on it..

  • Felling guilt or shame is not religion. You feel guilt because you are guilty. You feel ashamed because that’s remorse in your conscience. This makes you want to repent. . It’s a byproduct of the conviction of sin. (Not religion) the Holy Spirit is showing you that God wants you to repent and get forgiveness and from. He lifts the guilt and shame.

  • James 1:13-15 KJVS Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

  • O Father, please forgive me of my wilful sins that I committed due to my ignorance, lack of fear of God and my weaknesses. I confess them all to you O God. I choose to truly repent of my sins and I agree that they should be removed from my life. Wash me & cleanse me. Have mercy on me O Lord and accept my prayer for I truly wish to be transformed into a new creature filled by the Holy Spirit. Help me and strengthen me. I’m eternally thankful to You as I’m forgiven and redeemed by the blood of Jesus. My Lord change me. In Jesus name. Amen.

  • I love the saying that godly sorrow work is repentance. I love the way Paul said in second Timothy. The servant of the Lord must be kind and gentle instructing those that are in opposition to themselves. If God, perhaps, we’ll give them to give to repentance so that they can come to the acknowledgment of the truth and that they might come to their senses. And escape from the snare of the devil haven been taken captive by Satan to do his will. just one thing that I have learned that repentance is a gift from God. It is not something that we can work up in our own sorrow. It is God derived God initiated, and God completed, and by his strength we can do all things.

  • Thank you Jesus that you are my shepherd. Thank you Jesus that you make me lie down in green pastures. Thank you Jesus for leading me to still waters. Thank you Jesus for restoring my soul. Thank you Jesus that lead me in the paths of righteousness FOR YOUR NAMESAKE. Thank you Jesus for preparing a table for me before my enemies. Thank you Jesus for anointing my head with oil. Thank you Jesus that my cup runneth over. Thank you Jesus that goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life. Thank you Jesus that I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. This is how we rest in the Lord. Praise Him for all that He has already given you. When we take our eyes off ourselves and onto Jesus we are instantly wrapped in His love no matter what our condition.

  • In the name of Jesus, I agree with the will of God. I’ve been battling with lust, low self esteem, intrusive thoughts, doubt, and more, but I’m thankful for God’s grace and mercy. By Faith I’m agreeing with God. I pray I live forever in the freedom already given to me by the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I pray you heal my mind and restore me God. I pray I continuously and persistently walk in the authority You gave me. I’m sorry that I’ve fallen so many times, and I’m in agreement that it’s wrong, and I want no parts of it in any form or capacity. God you elevated me for a cause, and you’ve spoken to me. I pray I walk in your will forever. In Jesus’s name, amen. 🙏🏽

  • I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:16‭-‬25

  • I repented when I made this account last year April 20, 2023. I was a drug dealer for 20 years of my life I was filled with greed, pride, and envy it was dark and evil. Near the end I had a spirit of murder inside of me I believe it is only by the grace of God I did not end up murdering or being murdered myself or going to prison I have now accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour all glory to God forever and ever hallelujah! amen! ✝🙌😇❤🙏 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. — Ezekiel 36:26

  • I’ve been puzzling, (with great earnestness), over this very issue for quite some while now. If I’m hearing you correctly, it sounds as if you are saying that repentance is not completely achieved, without absolute and total cessation of committing some particular sin. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Have you personally, actually, achieved that state, or do you sometimes repeat a familiar sin, be it deed, attitude, or misguided perception? As mortal human beings, in this world, I do not believe that total cessation of every sin is possible. I wish it were. At times, I beat myself up over this condition in which we find ourselves. And, while I have achieved total cessation of many bad behaviors, and attitudes, it would appear to me, the deeply ingrained and internalized attitudes, reactions, and ill conceived perceptions, which took a lifetime to ensnare us, don’t suddenly cease to exist, just because we have come to realize that they’re wrong, acknowledge them, and feel contrition. Some sins take much longer to overcome than others. No one will achieve perfection. Therefore, I factor in coming to the knowledge of those things which have remained hidden in us, the true intentions of our heart, and our willingness to seek His will, help, and continuing guidance. So, I guess if one believes repentance requires total cessation of a particular sin, then I would tend to think that in some instances, repentance can be an achieved destination, but in some instances it can also be more of a path, than a destination, due to our inherent sin nature.

  • Lord forgive me please . I’ve been hurt and betrayed by others . My heart as be come cold like ice . Lord I felt the cruelty of the world . What I have forgotten is the love of God . Even in my darkest hour you were there . No matter the cruelty done to me you helped me overcome . I ask for forgiveness Jesus . I won’t a new way of thinking . You saved me from death . My God saved me from the impossible . Please forgive me for wasting my second chance Jesus at life . I am wrong .

  • I mess up repeatedly multiple several many times over and over again on purpose i have made to many excuses and every statement is not taken out and it does not go with out saying i need God’s help to really truly fully sincerely genuinely repent inside out and to really truly fully mean it inside out completely and permanently! I want to be free from all sin inside out completely and permanently!

  • Hello brother, I am not fluent in the language and I use a translator so sorry for misspellings, I would like to ask one question: what to do when I feel defeated by temptations discouraged from preaching the gospel because they keep coming back, seems like I have to throw it away but I can’t, I wonder if after all this God wants me or if I have trampled the blood of Jesus through willful sinners and how should I think to save someone if I myself have a lot of problems.

  • I’ve done all this and then some…yet still I fail. I try as hard as I can and because I fail continuously I’m at the point of suicide. I’m ready to just end it. I dont understand why no matter how much anguish and conviction I feel, no matter how I give it all to him, every last tear and ounce of energy in my body, heart, mind and soul, he still for some reason won’t take the problem from me. Why why why?!!!

  • I really love your messages, how God uses you. I would like to ask a question. Is confession repentance? or is it part of repentance? i.e can I confess my sins and then not repent making my confession really dead cause I’m still living in sin. I also wanted you to please explain the concept of believing and repentance. How these work together?

  • Thank you Sir! Now i know what to do, it gave me more clarity about true repentance, i’ve broken my 2 month streak about not perusal pornography and i’ve fallen again today, i confess immediately by going to a mass and sometimes what i do when i’m tempted is by praying in the moment and letting myself filled with the holy spirit it really works but today i intentionally fell back where i started. To all who are struggling like me please don’t fall into despair, let God control your life and let go of your will but His will be done, it’s very hard but it’s a lifelong battle we have to fight and Jesus already won by shedding His blood for our sins. Don’t give up guys!

  • I can work hard on days I need to show up at work, but once I have a holiday (and still a studies I need to finish), I noticed I fall back in old patterns of laziness sometimes. Please help me Lord, since being comfortable feels good, but comes with a price I do not want to pay! In accordance with this word and proverbs 6:6-11, hebrews 12:6, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I bind one to desire to and believe to be prepared for every change of situation and circumstance by working diligently in the spiritual realm as in the natural realm even without overseer in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents, the children I teach and the body of Christ, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone lacking desire and believe to be prepared for every change of situation or circumstance by working diligently in the spiritual as the natural realm even without overseer, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!

  • The bottom line is this article is about Pornography. So many men, Christian as well, go back and forth with using Pornography, masturbation and then begging/asking God for forgiveness. And yes, transformation. Personally, I’m at a loss regarding this habit/addiction. If I could press a Red button and it would leave forever, I’d press the button in less than a second. But it doesn’t work like this. While we’re living in this body on Earth, we’re bombarded with messages of Sex, lust and Porn. I really hope that my own addiction to Pornography and lust will be gone before I die. I know I’m a wretched sinner. I need God Almighty to break this destructive addiction in my life before it kills me.

  • You speak a lot of truth, in this topic. Yet you call the father Lord. DO you know the Father and Son’s name? If you do, why call Him Lord. Lord means Ba’al in Hebrew. SO you call Him by the Name od a pagan deity. Denying His name, the door will close for you: Rev 3:8 “I know your works – see, I have set before you an open door, and no one is able to shut it – that you have little power, yet have guarded My Word, and have not denied My Name.

  • The problem we have today is no one knows what righteousness is. How about we look at Romans 10:3 For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. They don’t know what righteousness is so they decide for themselves what righteousness is, and because of this they are not righteous. God laid out righteousness for us . Read Psalm 119 This is the longest chapter in the bible. Want to bet that wasn’t an accident. You might want to read Romans 15:18 especially if you actually read the bible. It says, and this is Paul speaking, ” For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience-by word and deed. You also might want to read 2 Peter 3:15:17 Peter is saying, and by the way this is the head of the church, that you need to be careful how you read Paul’s writing and not be carried away with the error of lawless people!!! Wake up!!! Please!!!

  • Sorry if my english is not perfect, it’s not my language. These things maybe sounds weird… Sometimes I’m afraid to do almost anything because I don’t know what is sin and what isn’t. And I don’t know why but I can never recognize which thought comes from God and which thought comes from satan. There’s a huge mess in my mind and sometimes I feel like I will lose my mind if I don’t figure things out soon. I’m suffering mentally and I see only 1 way to be free from this suffering: going back to sin. But I cannot do that! I feel like I have to go through an invisible mine field to get to Jesus and I don’t even know how many mine will blow and I must regret what don’t even know! If even 1 little sin is enough to show God that my repentance is not genuine, then how is it possible to be saved. I love Jesus and I want to be good enough for Him but I feel like He’s asking the impossible: Notice and regret every single sin in the past; live like Jesus and never sin again or your repentance won’t be genuine and you will go to hell! I know that I can trust Jesus but I feel like I’m blind and deaf! How am I supposed to live a life with full of joy and love if every second of my life is nothing more than extreme trials and suffering??? Sometimes I can’t even figure out that I’m telling the truth or I’m lying to myself and I don’t even know it! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not actually crazy (yet), but I’m really exhausted mentally! I need help because I’m slowly losing hope and faith (if I even have living faith).

  • I make no excuses for myself nor my addiction, but I repent daily and I also sin daily to my addiction and I hate that I do this to the point I punish myself for sinning I’ve even shot myself with a 12 gauge shotgun. I beg God to help me overcome my addiction just like He has helped others. Because I can’t do it. It’s only by His Holy Spirit and power can I change. Because my body the flesh what’s to keep doing what feels right but my spirit is screaming God help me.

  • Sin repent repeat is a catholic doctrine called confession! You might as well say three hail Mary’s! News flash … until you truly repent you are NOT saved! 2 Corinthians 7:10For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. This is the message Paul preached not some sloppy agape… saved in sin doctrine of devils! Acts 26:20 First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds.

  • I finally got free from sin and read the bible for about 4 months and prayer and tries to worship… But apparently im not good enough still so im giving up again… Im probably like saul and it was too late for me.. So i have to just accept hell… Faith in Jesus doesn’t seem to be enough… Goodbye everyone i hope you are all happier in heaven

  • I keep repeating this sin. And I want it gone and out of me in Jesus name. I need help and prayers please. I feel its a family curse. I don’t want to be part of this worldy, wants and needs of material things. Lust if the eyes. I don’t want to be damed to hell over a piece of a thing that can be broken. I want the eternal life with Christ. The gift of knowing that I will be with my Savior after I leave this world. 🙏🏼

  • I was felt upset because back in december 19 2021, i made a horrible mistake i commit and then after that, i realized that i screwed up that i felt disappointment inside on what i did but in middle of the night, i apologized to god and asked him forgiveness and then i have been forgiven and i confess the truth to my friends and they forgave me and now in today for I truly repented and no longer carried that sin or horrible mistake i commit that i turn away from that sin i commit and i will moved on to the brighter future thanks to jesus christ for he always forgive me amen. 🙏🙏🙏

  • I mess up repeatedly multiple several many times in a role on purpose i made to many excuses and every statement is not taken out context and it does not go with out saying i confess i am guilty of all the things God hates and it is all my fault it’s no ones fault but mine and i need God’s help to really truly seriously strictly completely fully sincerely genuinely repent inside out and to really truly fully mean it inside out i have been stubborn hearted and double minded for way to long my life has been a Journey of convictions, disciplines, corrections, realizations, and chastisments and i need God’s help to really truly fully come to the end of myself inside out completely! I want to really truly fully free from sin inside out completely!

  • I am a sinner god I have issues with lust and weed I love it for the short term moment but long term I know it’s going to kill me I just want to be free from this and never do these things again I hate this feeling in my chest it’s spiritual pain I want to be free lord from this It’s like the VENOM SYMBIOTE from spiderman when Peter tried to take it off it feeels good but the minute you want to unbond from it fucking hurts but I wanna be free I like the sin but ik god and Jesus doesn’t like it so I want to learn to hate my sin

  • I’m so sorry Lord. What have I done besides disappoint you. I fail in everything I do. I can’t even seem to tell the truth when that’s all you ask me to do. I hate my situation. I hate everything about it. I’m so uncomfortable and it’s driving me so insane that I can’t get out of it. Every thought I have feels like it’s not my own. Jesus save me from this possession for I know that I am not possessed by You but by my own desires. You give me insight but at the same moment I sin. What is this but the opposite of medicine. Even now I ask for Your attention but do not know if I’m getting it because I sin. I sin so much that I hate my skin I hate my life, for my life is not in accordance to Your Word. What a world. Oh Lord how I wish to kill my self but I know You are out there. What a world. Pray for me family.

  • as someone who broke all 10 commandments thousands of times, and not by mistake but by true hate towards God, I can tell you that when I saw God’s love for the first time, that he never punished me for anything ever, not a health problem, had plenty of unique life experiences, all my family is healthy, I realised that in spite of all that I still received Love from God, that really made my heart melt and even if my body screams at me to sin, that love is more powerful imagine your child or pet or loved one, that if they we’re in a burning building you immediately run and face the pain to save them out of pure love, yet its hard to swollow your pride to not cuss or smoke a cigarette, for the love of your own God, how is that? being really honest is that you might not want to look in the face of the hatred and poison from your heart “They hated me without cause” John 15:22-25

  • Ezekiel 18:24 24 “But if a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked person does, will they live? None of the righteous things that person has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness they are guilty of and because of the sins they have committed, they will die.

  • I am saved in christ, because with past relationship, having experience of spirit husband dreams, went for deliverance. But again It started to trouble me during my day time sleep.Everytime i do pray & I renounce it rebuke it in the name of Jesus, still I couldn’t completely delivered.please do suggest me what max I could do, I’m traumatized because of this sexual demonic dreams and dead person dreams even praying fervently.

  • I am an addict. I have stolen from my dad. His pain pills multiple times. I don’t want this addiction in my life. I am not a thief. but when it comes to that I am a thief. I have stolen but I don’t steal. I am a liar I am a thief. I am an adulterer, Please lord. I guilt is not even enough to stop me. I am a slave to this addiction. I know Jesus is with me. I am getting baptized on Sunday. I feel conflicted with getting baptized with this still in my life. Please pray for me. I need deliverance. I don’t want to continue to keep disappointing Jesus. I love Jesus. I feel like a Judas. I sold Jesus for 4 pain pills. I am worse then Judas. How do I ask God for forgiveness when he has forgiven me multiple times already. The sin that -plagues me is stealing pain pills from my dad. I have given up my lust the porn, The swearing I am working on all of it and fell that I have more or less beaten all those. But this one I continue to deal with. I really need help.

  • Something cool happened when I was perusal this. What he said from 1:22 – 1:30 really made sense to me / resonated with me and my current situation, and as I was thinking about that, he said what he said at 1:30, and I felt something, idk how to describe it I feel like this was some weird random tangent or rabbit hole type of comment but thank you to anyone who read it

  • Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” 9 “Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Romans 11:6 “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.” Matthew 23:19 “Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?” Romans 8;1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 9:16 “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.”

  • Lord Jesus, i pray that you help me come to true repentance. I dont know how to do it . Im tired of praying and asking for forgiveness for my drug use amd saying i wont do it again. I pray and ask for the conviction to quit, and the desire to follow through. Please dont give up on me Lord. My life is meaningless without you. If anyone reads this, can you pray for me that i come to true repentance so i can devote my life to Christ. Thank you

  • >Doesn’t mean you can go back to sinning and disobeying GOD There are examples in the bible of people who do just that and are still saved. 1 CORINTHIANS 3 KJV 1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 1 Corinthians 3 New King James Version 1And I, BRETHREN, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to BABES IN CHRIST. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? The reason they act that way is because they are immature in the faith. Immature babies act like lost people, in the flesh. There are other examples of Christians who disobey God and sin IN THE BIBLE. In order to NOT sin a person must WALK in the Spirit, and that is a CHOICE. Whether someone does do that or not salvation isn’t about keeping the law AFTER YOU BELIEVE. The Apostles had a meeting about whether someone needs to keep the law, which includes the ten commandments, after faith TO BE SAVED in Acts 15! They concluded with this. Acts 15:24 KJV 24″forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:” SALVATION and SERVICE are separate issues!

  • Sinning Christians are not Born Again. They have been decieved by their preachers, a false church, or they are self decieved. The Apostle John said, “And ye know that he (Jesus) was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”

  • My father died a few days ago.. during this pandemic.. me and my siblings are still young and he was gone soo soon and ofc we are sad and mourning because its was soo early but we are still happy because he led a righteous life he always share the word of God and remind us and guide us.. and i know even if our time together in earth was too short i know that i will see him again in paradise and the reason iam perusal this article is because of my father who led me to jesus christ our savior and our heavenly father. I pray that we will get thru this pandemic Godbless everyone!

  • I have struggled with this feeling to 2 weeks, and I have only recovered today. I’ve commited a terrible sin just months before, this involves plotting to kill someone and planning my repentance, I tried and failed, thank God for that. I have strong hatred to my older brother, we got to a fight and hurt each other emotionally, then I even lied that It was he who started the fight to our parents, when in fact it was me who provoked him. At that time I realized what evil I’ve committed. Before this happened I’ve done more atrocious things to him, that includes emotional and social abuse, I’ve even schemed to ensure that he lost faith in God so that he would have no one to cling into. Ofcourse he had no idea that it was me scheming against him although we are already enemies at that point. I am christian, and at that time I was filled with bitterness and hatred. (Due to his schizophrenia, or perhaps its just his bitterness, he had done things which made me angry) After that fight It feels like my eyes were opened. Then I sought God and asked for forgiveness. My heart felt like there was some hard heavy wall separating me from him so that he would not hear me. My repentance was not sincere. The following days I completely changed my ways, I stopped scheming evil things and also tried to stop my masturbating habit. I tried to forgive my brother and not hate him, also planning to apologize to him at an opportune time. Then I read the words of God but I stumbled upon Hebrews ch6 and ch12 That was where condemnations begun.

  • That’s the number one thing I feared the most in the first couple of years after I accepted Christ in the 1990’s… I went through quite a lot since then, I even had two slips in alcohol and drug. One in 1992 that lasted until 1995. The other was in 1997 and lasted 7 years. But even through all that, I’ve learned more and more about His grace. I’m sober since 2004 now, and wish to remain that way through His grace — a day at a time. Thank you for this article. It’s really encouraging!

  • Thank you for the clarification!! I’m always tormented with blasphemous thoughts and I hate them… I get so many doubts and weird things in my head that scare me. I do want to clarify my doubts and questions in a good and biblical way, not having these ugly thoughts!!! I’ve been tormented with these for months and I pray about it, and it has gotten a lot better but I’m still struggling… I think I have OCD psychological issue.

  • Praise god that he sent his only begotten son to die for our sin!! That’s how much god loved us!! Thank you god, the son, the holy ghost!! To think what jesus did for us it makes my heart hurt to know he suffered in so much pain for us!! But it fills my heart he loved us so…that he did this for us!! Thank you jesus for being my saviour!! Thank u for loving my imperfect, impure soul, so much that you’d die for me, and all my brothers and sisters on the cross to save my soul from damnation..and to have salvation!! Praise it be!!

  • 11 months ago when I thought I committed the unpardonable sin (based off of me observing erroneous teachings on what it means), I was such a mess. I wept like a helpless child. I thought I was one ticket away from going to Hell. And then I heard the voice of Jesus saying to me “Jeff, I will never leave you”

  • I have another question: what if your parents come from two different religions? (I’ve struggled with this all my life and my parents always either ignore the topic or fight about it. I’m sixteen and I really want to become a Christian, but it’s hard when your parents want you to be two different things at the same time.)

  • “From that time, many of His disciples went back and walked with Him, no more. Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?” But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” ‭‭John‬ ‭6:69‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ ‭‭

  • Finally someone that explains it correctly. Thank you for spreading the Word Daniel. May He bless you and your dear ones. But just one extra note: blasphemy agains the Holy Spirit is also claiming to be able to use powers of the Holy Spirit, while you’re not. Like we see now “many that heal people and cast out demons in His name, with the help of the Holy Spirit, while they don’t do that with the help of the Holy Spirit.” As is written in scripture that would happen. Think of the many “preachers” that drive in fancy cars, live in expensive houses and so on. Misusing His name and that of the Holy Spirit.

  • Thank you for this article I have been worrying for so long. Thoughts come into my head bad thought about the Holy Spirit and I hate those thoughts, my parents and grandparents say it’s Satan putting it in my head. I think it’s also maybe ocd about it or just fear. Thank you once again, and God Bless!!

  • I’ve been going through spiritual warfare and one thing that destroyed me for awhile was the feeling I was condemned. I felt like my heart was bleeding and there was no hope. It was so hard to pray because I felt so unworthy of God’s help, but I realized that God does not send you a spirit of condemnation or fear as God wants us to succeed. I’m still recovering, but articles like these have helped during this dark time. Thank you.

  • John 16:9-11 When someone is preaching about Jesus, The Holy Spirit goes to work and brings conviction to our hearts letting us know that we’re not right with God (Romans 3:23) John 6:44 (unless The Father God calls them no one can believe in Jesus) But in 1 Timothy 2:4 says, it is God’s desire for all men to know the truth. (John 3:16) I believe that God knows those that are his before the foundation of the world. (Jeremiah 1:5) That’s why us Christians we can’t manipulate or cohourse someone in believing. All we do is just present the good news and let the Holy Spirit do his work. Amen!

  • Consider this friend: On the road to Jerusalem, Jesus said to Peter, “get behind me Satan” (Matthew 16:23), and hadn’t he heard Jesus say, “Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?” (John 6:70)? Then on the night Jesus was betrayed Peter denied Him 3 times despite having heard just hours before from the Lords very mouth that he would do this. Peter surely later remembered Jesus saying, “if you deny me before men, I will deny you before the Father” (Matthew 10:33)… but Jesus had prayed for him, “But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not:” (Luke 22:32)….. and later, Jesus set Peter free (John 21:7-19). Beloved believer, remember Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2) and He has prayed for us all (John 17:20)… even me a great sinner. Peter’s faith, made strong by the prayer of a righteous man (Jesus)(James 5:16) overcame the great temptation weighing on Peter to disbelieve Jesus’ love for him and perish. Yes, He loves the people (Deuteronomy 33:3), so answer the statement for yourself once and for all (Isaiah 59:1), ” Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear”. So, beloved, gather the broken pieces, because He has determined that nothing will be lost (John 6:12). Simply believe in the love of the truth who is Jesus our redeemer. Praise the name of Jesus now and forever. He is Lord of all.

  • I agree on everything that was talked in this article, but also, I want to go a bit deeper, because nowadays the things are a little more complicated than just a matter of “unbelievers”, or “unbelieving”, and this is very important to understand. So, when Pharisees rejected and despised Jesus Christ, even many months and years after he resurrected, there were many disciples and apostles who still tried to convict the Pharisees to believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah (Read all the book of Acts), but they kept resisting the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, and instead, they preferred to live a whole lie and a hypocrisy, keeping commandments of men and religious traditions, pretending to be “holy and righteous” when in the reality they were still sinners in secret, in other words “whitewashed tombs” (Matthew 23:27-28). So, we need to understand who are the Pharisees nowadays. Well, in the present, we can see many many people who already has confessed Christ as their Saviour, so the real “unbelievers” are a few (if that isn’t true, I don’t care about statistics!, I’m focusing on other issue here). The thing is, that not all of those “christians” keep the true doctrine of Jesus Christ, because they are Hypocrites just as the Pharisees, that is, being just religious people who keep false doctrines (are Heretics), and live a sinful and a wordly lifestyle; loving and coveting money (Matthew 6:24; Colossians 3:5); loving this wicked world (James 4:4; 1John 2:15-16); some are adulterers (have divorced and re-married with another spouse Luke 16:18); some are fornicators (having sex without getting married); homosexuals; sorcerers; drunkards, drug-addicts; idolaters of sports, singers, pastors, theologians, teachers, scientists, etc.

  • When I was 17, I thought speaking in tongue was against the teachings of our lord Jesus. And I used to mocked my friend because he used to go to the church where they speaking in tongue. Now I realised that my action was not right. It was worst of me ever 😭 Now I’m 24 and I pray to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit to forgive me 😭🙏🏾 Amen!

  • Am a hindu, my education was from a Christian missionary school, i know every verse of bible .. i love christianism 🙏 love from india .. i pray to jesus too .. once i wanted to convert myself, a sister from my school said, u can embress lord by staying in your religion, u don’t need to convert yourself or anything! If he sent u this way he has some plans for u, trust him . And i still believe in Jesus too 😊🙏

  • ALL GLORY TO JESUS CHRIST ALONE GOD. GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER. HALLELUJAH. LET’S RUN BEHIND JESUS CHRIST. LET’S LIVE LIKE JESUS CHRIST. AMEN. BROTHER BIBLICAL TEACHING. BIBLE IS TRUE LIVING WORD OF GOD. BIBLE IS LIFE. WORD OF GOD INSIDE THE BIBLE. BIBLICAL TEACHING BROTHER. THANKS.. NICELY TEACHING. LET’S SHARE ENTIRE WORLD EVERY CORNER EVERY NATION

  • Thank you for this, I’ve been struggling with intrusive blasemphous thoughts when I saw a picture of somebody who post a picture of Jesus and defiled his picture. Those images kept popping up into my mind and horrible terrifying blasemphous thoughts. I watched this and it truly made me feel better. Thank you brother!

  • The blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, specific as it was to the Pharisees’ situation, cannot be duplicated today. Jesus Christ is not on earth, and no one can personally see Jesus perform a miracle and then attribute that power to Satan instead of the Spirit. The only unpardonable sin today is that of continued unbelief. There is no pardon for a person who dies in his rejection of Christ.

  • Beautifully expounded Daniel. Some more we can add to the list of blasphemy to the Holy Spirit I’ve heard are: – Attributing the works of evil to the works of God. (This happens ALL the time, be it in other religions or even infiltration within the church…. much like the pharisees); – Those who call good evil and evil good (Isaiah 5:20). Just like the pharisees, politicians, cults and the like do this very thing. How is it possible then to recognize good, when one sees it as evil?

  • I may have not fully understood it. What if you deliberately reject Him, not with ignorance but as I‘ve said you are fully aware of His power but you absolutely don’t want to follow Him and then one day something happens and you realize you actually want to be with Him. Can it be forgiven? I‘m still confused, I often have difficulties in understanding simple things… 🙁 I also worry about some things… for example, once when I felt like He was talking to me, or giving me a message or so and I was not quite willing to accept it and – you can say – rejected Him or His help in this moment… or thought about not doing what he tells us to do, questioning it etc.? This is blasphemy? I was so insecure in that moment, I‘m so disappointed in myself…

  • What if I ask forgiveness before sin, will god forgive me later?? Like, I know the truth of law and the consequences but I have to do it for sake of my survival as a thieve.. then after I stole my target, cherish it for limited time, for fulfillment, and peace after I’ve done it, repent in old age, live in righteousness while near to die.. will I still be forgiven? ?? Please response, I’m just confused..

  • Some one please help. I think I rejected God and did the unforgivable. I’m so scared. I told God that I don’t think I’m a real Christian and I said I need to say good bye for now until I truly mean with my heart that what I say when I ask you to come into my heart. Did I just commit blasphemy? The only reason I told God goodbye for now is because I want to make sure it’s genuine when I ask him again😭😭😰😰

  • I need help. I didn’t end up getting baptized until I was 12, and went through this emo like phase when I was around 6 – 9. I don’t go to church but I am a great believer. I do not go to church because I usually feel unwelcome, and the other kids there are toxic and mean to me. They almost bully me, but without actually saying anything to me. They have that attitude of the cocky rich spoiled kid. The only reason I would want to go to church was because I had a very good friend there. I had a close friend that live 2 houses down from me and we went to church together. His dad was the bishop and he treated me like his own son. He made me feel welcome in church. Recently during the pandemic they moved away, and now I almost feel scared to come to church because of these kids, and I have many friends but not a single one of them is in my ward now that the other has moved, and since I live in a toxic rich kid neighborhood, neighbors to kids who even their parents are toxic, I still get kids saying “oh you don’t have this or that?”. One time our teachers wanted to call me to see if I was going to show up that day, and asked if anyone had my number, my friend was told me that when he asked this, one of the kids replied, “Why would anyone have his number, why would anyone even WANT his number?” and they started laughing. I need help, because I would like to go to church, but I always feel nervous and unwelcome there because everyone, even some of the adults act like they are better than me.

  • I’m scared. The other day I was talking to my sister and we were talking about my troubles. She said let god help you, just pray. I said “Well it doesn’t seem to be helping much.” Or something like that, I think I mentioned the Holy Spirit. I really didn’t mean it as blasphemy, did I commit the unforgivable sin?

  • There is a great danger if anyone says that the works and power of the Holy Spirit is from the devil, they might lose their salvation. The Bible says, “Grieve not the Holy Spirit.” Therefore true believers who are IN CHRIST will not judge the power and manifestations of the Gifts of the Spirit. (1Cor.1:6-7; Rom.11:29; 1Cor.12,13,14)

  • So, I grew up in a Presbyterian church, but didn’t truly believe(despite the fact that I prayed with my parents), and actually hated Christians and church because I was abused by a few Christians. So, around 16-18, I stopped going to church and reading the Bible and said I didn’t want to be a Christian(I didn’t truly believe). For a few years after that, I experimented with other religions, was sexually immoral, and partied way too much. I also said TERRIBLE things about Jesus, the Bible, and Christians. 🙁 UNTIL when I was 25(in 2015), I went through something that made me realize Jesus was REAL and he was coming back someday. My life did a 180. First of all, I felt HORRIBLE for everything I did, and felt stupid for saying all those bad things about Jesus. I did accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. I renounced non-Christian religions, sexual immorality, partying, and other sins. I asked for forgiveness for all of my sins several times. I read the Bible, I pray frequently both by myself and with my kids, and me and my kids go to church. Me and my kids are actually getting baptized next Sunday. Needless to say I also struggled with the passages about The unpardonable sin and also Hebrews 6. I have often wondered if I have commited it. Also, I struggle with I might have been an apostate(even though I didn’t truly believe until 2015). I don’t know. On the other hand, would I be where I am now with Jesus if I committed the unforgivable sin? Or am I misunderstanding something?

  • Someone told me that the unpardonable sin is that when you know you have sinned but don’t care and ignores it. It is when the Holy Spirit is convicting you but you kept on rejecting it until you’re lost without even realizing it. It can be unbelief but it is because of a lack of repentance. You can not be forgiven unless you repent. Whatever kind of sin it is, whether small or not, if you keep on doing it and reject the conviction of the Holy Spirit, it is when the Holy Spirit will get quieter and quieter until you’re lost. If you worry that maybe you have committed the unpardonable sin, then I think you didn’t because repentance is still in your heart and because you still care. Get closer to God through prayer, I love you. Keep safe! ❤

  • When one realizes that the Holy Spirit comes from God, we understand better why blaspheme of the Holy Spirit is a sin. God sent the Holy spirit flying down into Jesus heart when he was baptized and when we are baptized, Jesus baptizes us with that same Holy Spirit and fire. Water baptism is for repentence but we must be baptized by Jesus with the Holy spirit and fire.

  • I came VERY CLOSE to this sin. I legitimately attempted this sin when i was 6 days without sleep, i did it out of delusion. And yes i legitimately attempted to speak against the spirit. I had Satan whispering in my ear for that long and more. No lie. Im dead serious. Honest truth. I was in anguish, agony and in completely crippling fear that i was destined for the Lake Of Fire. Almost 1 year later JESUS GOT ME OFF CIGARETTES after 10 year’s of being addicted. Why would jesus even bother if i was a Son Of Perdition. I couldn’t believe how hard it is to actually commit this sin. So yeah hes 100% right on that. I have the experience and the miracle of breaking addiction with christ afterwards all in one package.

  • Thank you for this….youve made clear a lot that has confused and worried me for some time. I am ashamed to admit I have backslid since my mom passed away a little over two years ago, and yet despite my life since then God has kept me from going too far and has kept me in His word as much as possible despite my not reading enough of His word as I should have. Please pray that I may repent and overcome the last barriers with God’s help. Thank you God….for loving and caring for me despite my life and the troubles in it. God truly is faithful in all things, in all circumstances, and in all the days of our lives. Amen.

  • God forgive me for thinking these bad thoughts about the Holy Spirit! God please forgive me for enduldging in sexual sin and thinking about The Holy Spirit while doing it. I’m sorry God I shouldn’t even be doing these sins and when I do sometimes thought about the Holy Spirit come into my head while looking at bad stuff and doing bad stuff. Please forgive me God!!! I don’t want to blaspheme the Holy Spirit or even be disrespectful to Him! Please forgive me I confess I did those sins and am a sinner!

  • Hey Daniel can you make a movie about confession confess your sense to a priest all Christians need to know this I know some people some some churches are different so Daniel please make a movie about confession does Christmas confess their sins to a priest cuz I’m a Catholic I confess my sins to a priest so please make a movie about it my name is Eric James Lujan

  • I wilfully walked away from Jesus about 20 years ago. It was after my mum died randomly when I was 18. I had a bad friend who would reinforce the idea that God wasn’t real to me. I cut him out of my life about 5 years ago. After that I simply just didn’t care. But I have turned back to God and accepted Jesus into my life again in the last few months. I feel very ashamed of what I have done, as I was young I didn’t fully understand. I hope that I am not irredeemable as I do love Jesus and I accept that he died for us. Yet I cannot change my past now, and I have a long way to go in repairing the relationship. But I believe now, and I won’t turn away again. Any misfortune in my life is due to Satan, not God.
