  • What a bang for starters. What an incredibly great opening for a convention unlike any other. Now, this is the real America. This is what our country looks like, feels like, sounds like. I do hope all independents and many Republicans will come on board and take our country father into the 21st Century. America is already great. We’ve been great for a long time, and by the grace of God, we will be the greatest. God bless America. I am proud to be an American 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  • Love every moment! There were so many special moments that I will cherish. The crowd was electric! It felt good to have so many positive and great speakers. Jasmine Crockett is from my state (Texas) and she made me cry as did our wonderful president, Joe Biden. I am just so proud of everyone there tonight. Looking forward to tomorrow night.

  • Chris Hayes’ reaction to Biden’s speech was to say Biden had a big ego. I’m glad Lawrence walked that back with real life experience. Either Hayes is incredibly cynical or he represents the criticisms that people have had of Democrats – that touting one’s accomplishments is a ‘bad’ thing. Not too long ago Biden was criticized for not playing up his Administration’s accomplishments. Which is it (PS the media is to blame for people not knowing what the Administration has accomplished)? Biden’s accomplishments are a BFD. It’s not a sign of a big ego, Mr Hayes, it’s A FACT.

  • Let this be a reminder, yet again this is not a “honeymoon” phase, this right here is the energy and momentum ANY political side would want, that would be hopeful of a victory come election day, Kamala Harris and the Democrats has greatly turned over a new leaf, a new direction and a fresh one at that, something they did not have in 2016 nor in 2020 (but still won) both of which those presidential years has grown VERY OLD and overly played, only one side has seen it, one side has acted, one side has made the change, and that change is something the majority of America is wanting and been waiting for, we are not going back, we’re moving forward in unity of these modern times and hopefulness, excitement and optimism, and for the first time in history hopefully to call our president, Madam President!

  • What a great first night. Hilary really stood out and masterfully delivered a powerful and memorable speech. Biden closed out the night and delivered one of the his best speeches ever. Must have been satisfying for Hilary to get such a wonderful reception, hear the audience chant lock him up and she was the perfect choice to draw the stark contrast between Kamala and Trump. She is one sharp lady who should have won in 2015.

  • Finally at a convention thats is not weird with people wearing tape over their ears and diapers! I don’t fully align with any party. I vote for people who are qualified for the offices they run for its simple folks. If they give is only two choices Im choosing the one that doesn’t lie every time they speak, and the one who has not openly degraded others in every sense of the word!

  • Now that ibhave seen all 4 nights, this night was about people who made history. Like Jessie Jackson with the civil right act, Hilary with being the first woman nominated for President, to Our current President Joe Biden with his historical carer in Politics, also showing us to pit pride aside and stepping aside the next generation. THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN Thank you. ❤😂🎉🇺🇲

  • I’m voting blue and don’t even need to watch it. I’m going to spend the week playing with my daughters and teaching my 4 year old to draw “smiley critters” a little better. That’s how much faith I have in Harris -Walz 2024. An administration where I can focus on my family and not what going on in the news and White House. Vote blue baby!!! (Also, fingers crossed for a boy). 😂

  • players gonna play, haters gonna hate…shake it off …We’ve got love on our side 🙂 I’m old enough to remember when the Dem convention was a place of contention and racists created division within the tent. This one feels like a giant love in :). Here’s to hope, strength, the ideals we were raised on and believe in that are being demonstrated and voiced tonite. We won’t go back.

  • Let’s get it, America! Vote blue, vote for democracy, vote against authoritarianism, and most importantly, vote for normal. Let’s make kindness American again and take the hate out of politics that Donald Trump has made so prevalent. We don’t need these weirdos telling us how to live our lives. Let’s end the cult that has taken over the GOP.

  • Loved every moment of nightb1. And with Joe we really did not see Biden give a traditional Dnc conversation speech becasue we were is the covid crisis ao it was nice to see him finally get that speech. Also, to say thank you, Joe, for all his services of what he did in the senatw, to the Vp spot to the President. He deserved this night

  • the true soul of America speaks, listen, even if you are a Republican, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are the dream team! Donald Trump and JD Vance are a nightmare. Heal the Republican Party and finally stand up, remember the true values that made America great, for the people and also as a light for the whole world. Go and vote blue! President Biden has proven that he is a great president and Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will be his worthy successors. God bless America! 💙💙💙🇺🇸

  • Nearly 4 years under Democracy leaders and the facts: homeless everywhere you can see, RV trucks parked on the residential streets with stinky smells, robberies in daily time threaten many small businesses and pedestrians, suffering high prices due to inflation, stock market up and down unreasonably following random announcements of governors and high position leaders, a crisis in border, the no value voice of America in the world. However, the best you can do is the best welfare to poor one and thanks for what all of you have contributed to this country. In my opinion, I believe that Trump and republicans will makes a great changes to all obstacles that you have left. Thanks for what you did.

  • I absolutely Love Jasmine Crockett, Maxine Waters, Rev Raphael Warnock, Jamie Raskin and AOC! There’s so many more but man their speeches gave me chills! Very good job DNC on Day 1! Thank You Mr President Joe Biden you were awesome as well! Rather you stepped down or not you always had my vote! Much Love💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙❤
